The system is currently used to maintain polished stone surfaces in many of the finest resorts, homes and public buildings around the world.

Through the use of specially formulated chemicals and purpose designed buffing machines, microns on the surface of the marble are transformed from calcium carbonate to calcium fluorosilicate. Laboratory tests have proven that the process creates a more durable finish on the surface of the marble. This makes it more resistant to wear and tear and prolongs the shine. This is the case even in areas of high foot traffic such as entrance halls. Another important feature of crystallisation is that it leaves the surface non-slippery, thus allowing polished marble to be safely installed in areas where slippage would otherwise be a concern, for example in bathrooms or pool areas. Crystallization also acts as a sealer against staining and moisture penetration thereby eliminating the need for expensive sealing chemicals. Finally the system does not contain wax which can create a build up and a yellowing of the stone.
